OPEN Silicon Valley Young Professionals

The Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs (OPEN) Silicon Valley Young Professionals is a network comprised of career-driven experts who aim to cultivate personal and professional growth, foster diversity and inclusion and create opportunities that strengthen relationships within the South Asian diaspora.

 

I joined the executive board in June 2023. In these past year, I've helped my team with spearheading the marketing campaigns for our professional and social events, editing our bi-monthly newsletter, co-creating graphics and writing captions for all our social media posts.

 

On event days, I serve as their primary photographer and ensure that the content is effectively covered on our Instagram account. Check out the photos from our "Mastering the Art of Strategic Storytelling" workshop with Rehmat Kharal, our social at the Painted Ladies Landmark in San Francisco, and the Age of A.I. annual forum at the Santa Clara Convention Center.

In February 2024, to commemorate our achievements we made in 2023, we all convened at Delah Coffee for our annual Chai Social. In addition to an ice-breaker activity, we played a game of Charades and Antakshari as many of us sipped on our delicious cup of coffee.
